The Right Honourable Prime Minister Stephen Harper and The Right Honourable Premier Dalton McGuinty officially opened a $28.6 MM upgrade to Peterborough’s industrial airport on October 14, 2011. Situated in the beautiful Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes tourist region, the airport is now positioned to significantly expand the region’s aviation and aerospace industry cluster with new investments and job creation.

The Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation (GPA EDC) is currently seeking applications for the position of Aviation & Aerospace Industry Recruitment Executive. You are a seasoned professional who is organized, self-motivated, results oriented and a proven closer to lead the aviation and aerospace industry program for the Corporation. You have a minimum of ten years of experience, preferably as a senior manager or officer in the military, aviation, aerospace or related industries. Recent experience in aerospace, defence or civil aviation procurement would be an asset.
