Lengthy time required for complete A380 fix
Monday June 11th 2012 - bbc.co.uk
Airbus has said its A380s could be grounded for up to eight weeks if work to repair hairline cracks in wing brackets is completed in one visit.
Airbus spokesman Justin Dubon told the BBC, however, that he expected most customers to do the repairs step by step as part of regular maintenance checks.
“In this case, it would only add a few days to the overall procedure,” Dubon said.
