TrueNorth achieves key certification

Stylus handset from TrueNorth AvionicsTrueNorth Avionics has achieved AS9100 Rev C Quality Management Certification for its Ottawa facilities, validating its status as a certified aerospace supplier. The company said the certification would open up new opportunities with aircraft OEMs.

“Achieving this certification is an important milestone for the TrueNorth team,” said Mark van Berkel, CEO of TrueNorth. “AS9100 Rev C is not only a prerequisite for doing business with aerospace OEMs, it is a rigorous prescription for quality that exemplifies our philosophy on products such as our new Stylus multilingual handset.”
