MP announces Career Focus wage subsidies for aviation, aerospace industry

During her visit to the Ottawa International Airport, Catherine McKenna, Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre, said that with this funding, at least 15 post-secondary graduates will get their first job in the industry, and an opportunity to develop their skills in aerospace manufacturing and the aviation industry.

Embraer and American Airlines sign contract for 4 additional E175s

The contract, in addition to the original order placed by the airline in 2013 for 60 E175s, has a value of US$182 million (approx. CAD$249 million), based on current list prices.

Jambojet selects Q400 for fleet renewal and expansion

Ilyushin Finance Co., now with two Q400 on firm order, has successfully concluded a leasing agreement with Jambojet Limited of Kenya for both aircraft.
