Four CF-188 Hornet fighter jets will take to the skies of Romania beginning next month, part of a Canadian Armed Forces air task force to augment NATO and Romanian aircraft patrolling that country’s airspace.

CC-130J Super Hercules delivers IRB commitments for Canada

Lockheed Martin has successfully completed its required $1.4 billion Industrial Regional Benefits commitments to Canada, associated with the purchase of 17 CC-130J Super Hercules aircraft in 2007.

 
One of the prizes includes a propeller blade from the Lancaster when flown to the U.K. in 2014. Bidders can own a piece of history by taking home a retired Hamilton Standard propeller that made the journey across the Atlantic on the Museum’s Lancaster VR-A.
