400th Learjet 60 XR Aircraft Enters Service with Cinepolis

Bombardier and Learjet celebrate a significant milestone with the entry into service of the 400th manufactured Learjet 60 business jet. The aircraft, a Learjet 60 XR model, was delivered to Cinepolis, a corporation based in Morelia, Mexico, during a special ceremony in Morelia on February 28, 2012.

The Learjet 60 aircraft series has a solid reputation in the industry, offering a unique combination of unbeatable performance, value and cabin comfort. Founded in 1994, Cinepolis operates 265 cinemas with 2,690 screens in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Brazil and India. Cinepolis’ parent company, Organizacion Ramirez SA de CV, also has activities in the real estate and automotive sectors in Mexico.

In service since July 2007, the Learjet 60 XR aircraft is a proven model of performance, comfort, value and versatility in the midsize jet market segment. It delivers a high cruise speed of Mach 0.81 (861 km/hr), superior climb capabilities, proven fuel efficiency and low direct operating costs per nautical mile*. The jet higher operating altitudes certified to 51,000 ft (15,545 m) translate to time savings due to better winds, less traffic and less turbulence. The Learjet 60 XR aircraft can fly from Buenos Aires to Lima and São Paulo to Boa Vista non-stop with four passengers and two crew*.
