EuroTec has been awarded the completion contract for two new utility-configured Airbus H125 helicopters, to include installation of the Shotover B1 ‘Bulletproof’ Camera system.  The aircraft will operate in a variety of utility flight operation profiles.

“We are continually evaluating equipment that will improve our clients’ operations, and the new B1 camera from Shotover fits the bill perfectly for this project,” stated Hoss Golanbari, VP and managing director at EuroTec Canada. “The compact form factor, weight, capability and strong reputation of Shotover all help our clients accomplish their key missions.”

EuroTec has conducted prior Shotover camera installs and maintains close contact with such key technology companies.

“We are excited to expand into new applications with the launch of the B1,” said Shotover CEO Brad Hurndell. “The system’s compact size and weight open up opportunities on a wider range of aircraft than ever before.”

Shotover’s B1 is an ultra-compact and lightweight gyro-stabilized gimbal platform delivering unshakable stability. The open platform B1 features the same award winning six-axis technology as all of Shotover’s aerial camera systems, providing unmatched look down capability and exceptional low light and daylight performance.

The next-generation system is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of markets and is compatible with approved aircraft mounts for the Eurocopter AS350, Robinson R44 and R66, Bell 206 and 505, and CABRI G2 helicopters among others.

“Linking aircraft owners with the best technology options is very important to our team at EuroTec,” added Golanbari.  The company reports additional completion projects and installs are planned.

EuroTec’s services span helicopter sales, completion, MRO, consulting and technology development.  This broad service level includes completions at its Kansas City area headquarters as well as its Canadian subsidiary outside Toronto, Ont.  Clients benefit from consistent high-quality project results, completed on time and delivered ready for flight.
