The G700 was announced October 2019 at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition.

“We have been excited to show customers this amazing aircraft,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “The compelling combination of technology and cabin innovation raises the bar for the business-jet industry. Whether customers prioritize cabin size and flexibility, speed, range or flight-deck technology, there is no need to compromise because the G700 delivers all that and more.”

The G700 offers a high-speed range of 6,400 nautical miles/11,853 kilometers at Mach 0.90 and a long-range cruise of 7,500 nm/13,890 km at Mach 0.85. The aircraft’s maximum operating speed is Mach 0.925. The G700’s award-winning Symmetry Flight Deck, introduced with the next-generation Gulfstream G500 and Gulfstream G600, features such safety enhancements as active control sidesticks, the most extensive use of touchscreen technology in the industry and the Predictive Landing Performance System, another Gulfstream development and award-winner.

With up to five living areas, the G700 cabin showcases an ultragalley, the largest in the industry, with passenger lounge or crew compartment, master suite with shower, and a flexible space with a fully deployable six-place dining or conference table. The signature Gulfstream cabin experience promotes and enhances wellness through 20 Gulfstream panoramic oval windows, the largest in the industry; the industry’s lowest cabin altitude; 100 per cent fresh air; and a whisper-quiet cabin.

The G700 also introduces the most advanced and only true circadian lighting system in aviation that accurately simulates sunrise and sunset and greatly reduces the physical impact of ultra-long-range travel.

The G700 customer tour launches in Monterey, Calif., and will include Palm Beach, Fla., and return visits to Savannah before embarking on a European tour of Switzerland, France and the U.K. this spring.
