Helicopter International Shipping Services Inc. (HISS), a leading logistics coordinator specializing in the shipment of helicopters, has announced the appointment of Ryan Hecht as operations manager at the company’s Vancouver, B.C., office. Hecht brings over 10 years of helicopter shipping expertise to this position.
HISS, headquartered in Pompano Beach, Fla., opened its Canadian office in Vancouver in the fall of 2018, which is run by Niko Van Brandt.
The company works closely with OEMs, aircraft brokers, MROs, leasing companies and operators active in a wide variety of industries including oil-and-gas, search-and-rescue, construction, surveying, government contracts and firefighting.
Whether to or from North America or between points overseas, HISS specialists have been moving all models of helicopters safely both by ocean and air for almost three decades.
