Montair Aviation joins Air Georgian’s SOAR program

Air Georgian’s SOAR program for aviation career awareness, recruitment and retention continues to grow with the addition of Montair Aviation to its flight school program.

The partnership provides a career pathway for instructors at Montair to become first officers with Air Georgian.

“Montair is excited to offer our aspiring airline pilots the opportunity to advance their careers through the SOAR program,” said Montair’s director of flight operations, Blair Parrant. “We are proud to be involved in such a motivating and rewarding opportunity while supporting growth within the aviation industry.”

“We’re proud to partner with great flight training providers such as Montair through the SOAR program,” says Air Georgian’s system chief pilot, Jeff Tillapaugh. “This partnership offers Montair instructors career progression from a Class IV instructor to a CRJ captain and beyond.”

Montair Aviation has flight training schools located in Vancouver, B.C., and Red Deer, Alta.
