Moonwalker Inc. has made a breakthrough in 3D and holographic technology, much like how the jet engine and personal computer changed the modern world.

“Imagine being a pilot and training in an aircraft simulator. You’re on final approach when you break out of the clouds you see the city and airport that are not on a flat 2D plate screen,” said Bruce Beswick, retired RCAF pilot. “They are actually far more realistic, as you will now see them in three dimensions.

“Imagine being the pilot of a military aircraft and flying a low-level mission through the mountains. Those mountains now look very real as they are also seen in three dimensions. When you look to the side and see your wingman flying along in loose formation, you can actually see him moving through the air as you would in a real aircraft because you are watching him with a three-dimensional capability – all without goggles or glasses. All of these enhancements greatly improve the training of a pilot.  Better training means safer flying.”

By eliminating the need for 3D glasses and bulky headsets, limited low resolution images and the single field of view 3D, 8K resolution offers a unique experience. The capability to show up to 8K resolution without glasses or headsets, in up to nine fields of view means that the user now has the ability to enjoy a much more immersive experience.

For simulators, the Moonwalker 8K Naked Eye experience hopes to revolutionize training, making the transition from simulation to real life, safer, easier and more successful.
