The Wichita, Kan., office of the Montreal-headquartered MSB Group is moving into 2018 with strong foundations on which to build for the next 12 months.

MSB Global Resources Corporate USA (MGR), has increased the number of positions it has filled seven-fold in 2017, compared with 2016, while also more than doubling its specialized contract engineering team.

The persistent growth of MGR highlights the success of MSB Group’s strategic expansion into the United States, which also includes the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Savannah, Ga., in the third quarter of this year.

The team of talent acquisition specialists based at the Wichita office is responsible for identifying, sourcing and supplying professionals on behalf of a wide range of MGR clients.

Recognizing the unique requirements of its customers MGR delivers a distinct collaborative leadership approach to resource management. This provides continuity to ensure that the selected teams become a genuinely valuable asset for the host company.

To fulfill the very specific and specialized industry needs of its client base, MGR has also developed a fully customized manpower solution using a specific in-house methodology.

The process includes a rigorous interview procedure, thorough skills assessment, and supplemental training when necessary.

As proof of its progress, the MGR Wichita office already has a successful track record of placing talent at original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across North America in locations as diverse as Ohio, Texas, Wichita and Toronto.

“At MGR we aim to support aerospace companies in meeting their labor needs by providing individual contractors, entire teams on site, or work-package solutions for engineering services. Our team understands that securing the right human resources within aerospace is often a challenge. We ensure our clients’ needs are met by getting to know our customers and subsequently offering creative solutions to their manpower challenges,” said Gemma Dendurent, director of operations, MGR.

“Our international presence allows MGR to maximize our network of engineering professionals to support our customer requirements. Using our unique approach we believe we can continue to deliver a new set of talented experts to the U.S. aviation market.”

MGR specializes in engineering (flight test, mechanical, electrical, stress, design, weight, flammability), project management, supplier management, and manufacturing.

As part of Sogeclair Aerospace, MGR supports OEMs, maintenance, refurbishment and overhaul centers by providing a wide range of engineering services.
