NewLeaf Travel Company and Flair Airlines have announced the summer schedule from May 1 through to Oct. 30, 2017.
As Canada’s first and only ultra-low fare provider in air travel, NewLeaf has increased frequency to routes in strong demand. “This initial schedule solidifies our commitment to a network of routes that connect Canadians from coast to coast,” said Jim Young, president and CEO, NewLeaf Travel Company. “We are looking forward to adding to our network in the coming weeks.”
This is NewLeaf’s fourth schedule release since it began operating on July 25, 2016. The initial schedule offered travellers more destinations but with less frequency. The 2017 schedule has nearly doubled the capacity in high demand markets.
“Our customers have repeatedly asked for more opportunity to travel on the routes that we serve, so that’s precisely what this schedule provides,” said Young. “We have a highly concentrated route network that we are very pleased with.”
The schedule announcement is also another commitment that fares will still remain ultra-low. Customers are able to book fares from Abbotsford to destinations like Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Hamilton for as low as $19. Customers can also travel from Halifax to Edmonton for fares as low as $39.
NewLeaf Travel Company recently celebrated its 150,000th passenger, marking the milestone by giving away 150 trips (a trip a day) beginning on Feb. 1, and concluding on July 1, 2017.
Flights booked through NewLeaf are operated by Flair Airlines, a licensed Canadian airline with an experienced crew and pilots flying Boeing 737-400 passenger jets.
