OSM Aviation launches CrewAssist, an online community for pilots, cabin crew, technicians, and aspiring pilots – aimed at supporting
aviation professionals with staying relevant, sharp and ready for the upturn.

“Our mission will always be to assist the most important part of our industry: people,” said Espen Hoiby, CEO of OSM Aviation and
driving force behind the CrewAssist initiative. “COVID or not, we need to prepare for the next chapter. Therefore, we have created CrewAssist – an extensive offering that provides a wide range of solutions and benefits specially tailored for the global airline and aviation community.”

The online-based platform features news updates, relevant articles, career advice, video tutorials, insurance offers, individual coaching services, mental health support, and guidance needed to stay relevant and proficient. All new members will be given a premium
membership for the remainder of 2020, giving them access to a wide range of resources, discounts, and benefits on offer.

“As a former long-haul pilot who has been through the ups and downs of aviation, I feel a strong sense of empathy towards the aviators and crew that are left without a job because of the pandemic,” Hoiby continues. “In times like these it is more important than ever that we come together and find strength and support in each other.”

All former OSM Aviation employees, as well as alumni from OSM Aviation Academies will receive an additional 12-month premium subscription to the platform.
