Increasingly, jobs that would be performed by manned aviation can be accomplished for a fraction of the cost, with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). As the potential of the UAV has not been realized, Q1 has taken the bold step of becoming a drone reseller and industry pioneer. The services will be offered to enterprise level companies, and flight schools.

Sales and marketing manager Vev Jackson explained:  “We are making a step in gearing our company towards innovation, and technology. With our various partnerships we will be able to offer flight schools and enterprise companies, a UAV that will suit there operational needs.”

This service is expected to bring a new revolution and improvement to the aviation sector. The company’s goal is to be customer oriented: to provide its customers with high quality products while meeting their unique and time critical demands.

Carlos Santos, Q1 Aviation president, said: “We are filling the void that our customers have demanded. The future is today”.

Formed in 2010, Q1 began by using its experience to provide unique maintenance solutions to airlines. In 2011 it assembled a highly experienced team of aircraft maintenance engineers (AMEs) with backgrounds in heavy maintenance and specialized services to Form Q1 AVIATION. They combined experience, training, investment in technology and combined it with a drive for excellence in customer service. Today this philosophy has grown, making Q1 an MRO which serves some of the largest corporations.
