Sikorsky has announced that its S-92A and S-76D iFly Sikorsky electronic flight bag (EFB) and flight crew operating manuals (FCOM) are now available from the Apple App Store.
Users can download the Sikorsky EFB (FCOM viewer) and Admin apps using their iTunes username and password via an iPad, using the search term “Sikorsky EFB.” Additionally, iFly Sikorsky administrators can download the aircraft data package from the Sikorsky360 content library using their Sikorsky360 username and password and the Sikorsky EFB-Admin application.
Sikorsky officially launched its S-92A and S-76D FCOMs in March of this year, following peer reviews in 2016. The new manuals help pilots understand the intent of each helicopter’s system operations and are part of an effort led by HeliOffshore to enhance safety and build collaboration across the industry.
The S-92 and S-76D helicopter FCOMs and EFB applications complement the current flight manuals and add to the iFly Sikorsky suite of pilot applications on the Apple iPad.
