Snowbirds and CF-18 Demonstration Team release 2018 schedule

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the CF-18 Demonstration Team have released their 2018 performance schedules.

Both teams will delight viewers across Canada and the United States in a season packed with dozens of performances.

The Snowbirds start their season May 5 in Havelock, N.C., and are scheduled to perform in at least 32 other locations before wrapping up with a show for military families in Moose Jaw, Sask., on Oct. 19.

A handful of other Snowbirds performances have been tentatively scheduled, with locations to be determined.

The CF-18 Demonstration Team, featuring Capt Stefan Porteous flying the 2018 Demo Hornet, is scheduled to start its season May 5 in Trenton, N.J.

Porteous and the team are scheduled to perform in 26 other locations over the course of the season, wrapping up in Chesterfield, Mo., on Oct. 13-14.

  1. In Wasilla, AK, the father of two sons w/the Snowbirds, performed aerobatics in our airshow: Wings Over Wasillla, Alaska, June 7-8, 1997. Bud Granley was the father of the men.

    I was General Chair of the air show and enjoyed meeting the aerobatic flying father who had once been w/the Snowbirds as were his sons at that time.
