As we head into spring looking forward to summer vacation, we’ll be looking forward to seeing construction begin on Winnipeg’s new Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada. The first shovel will hit the ground on May 1, signifying the official start of seeing the brand new, state-of-the-art museum come to life.

Here’s a sneak peak of what’s planned so far:

  1. Good day. Maybe mark the city as I’m in Montreal and don’t know where the museum is located. I’ve been to the
    bomber museum in Nanton and a couple around Calgary. Thank you

  2. The Museum’s proud press release neglected to mention the city where it will be located.

    1. You’re right, thanks to all who mentioned this oversight! We’ve updated the post. Winnipeg is the lucky city getting this new museum.

  4. The directors sacrificed “utility” in favor of aesthetic appearance and increased cost.
