The 700 (City of Edmonton) Royal Canadian Air Force Association will be acknowledging the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain with a flyover over the City of Edmonton.
The flyover will take place Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Viewing areas include:
- Capital Plaza Legislature
- River valley near Legislature
- 108 Street/Capital Boulevard
- 104 Avenue, MacEwan University
- Valour Place
- Alberta Aviation Museum
- Griesbach RCAF Park
- Kipnes Centre
Confirmed aircraft include:
- Pitts Stearman – pilot Ted Reynolds
- Harvard – pilots Drew Watson / Scott Holms
- RV-6 – pilot Ken Fowler
- Long EZ – pilot Kyle Fowler
