Emergency exercise to take place at Sept-Îles Airport

On Wednesday, March 22, 2017, Transport Canada will be holding an emergency training exercise at the Sept-Îles Airport, Que.

The aim of the exercise is to test Transport Canada’s emergency procedures and to train and educate personnel from the various organizations and agencies involved, including municipal authorities, police, air carriers and hospital and ambulance services.

The exercise will take place in the afternoon and is expected to last approximately two hours. Members of the public will notice increased activity at the airport during this time. Please note, this event is simulated and there is no danger to the public.
