Chilliwack-based aircraft maintenance organization, Firkus Aircraft, announced they are now a Canadian authorized Textron Aviation service facility servicing both Cessna and Beechcraft piston aircraft.
Firkus Aircraft has called Chilliwack, B.C., home for more than 50 years. President Ray Firkus was taught about aircraft maintenance from his father, Gordon Firkus, who started Firkus Aircraft in the mid-1960s. Now as a three-generation multi-family business, they are modernizing the company while staying true to their traditional roots of making safety the top priority.
The company has added a dedicated parts department, a mobile maintenance trailer, and continue to grow to help both Cessna and Beechcraft owners keep their aircraft in the air.
