Flightline Training Services, a Canadian and Kenyan based aircraft maintenance training organization, has been granted recognition by the Civil Aviation Authority of Tanzania (TCAA) for its maintenance training programs.
“I am very proud of our organization, with a lot of hard work and dedication we have achieved this fantastic milestone; first with Transport Canada, then the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and now the TCAA. This allows the Tanzanian operators to have access to world class training,” said Phyl Durdey, chief executive officer of Flightline.
Founded in 2001, this Toronto/Kenya-based company is currently serving its 150 customers on 40 aircraft types. Durdey also added, “Being approved or recognized in 18 African countries has allowed our Nairobi Training Center to closely support the entire African region. Offering cost effective, quality training delivered by experienced instructors is our prime focus.”
Presently, Flightline offers type, recurrent, differences and specialty training on the following manufacturers’ aircraft: Airbus, ATR, AVRO, Beechcraft, Bell, Boeing, Bombardier, CASA, Canadair, Cessna, de Havilland, Dornier, Embraer, Pratt and Whitney, SAAB, and Viking.
Flightline Training Services has earned a respected position as a provider of quality maintenance training in a technically demanding industry.
“Our reputation is very important to us. We want to be the trainer of choice, providing this type of training offers a competitive advantage to our customers,” said Durdey.
