Flightline Training Services, a Canadian based aircraft maintenance training organization, in co-operation with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), has launched its remote training programs in order to meet the current challenges that face the aviation industry.

Chief executive officer, Phyl Durdey, said, “In light of the recent world events and how it has impacted the entire industry, Flightline Training Services has been able to continue to provide approved maintenance training courses directly to their customers with the same instructor lead training that they come to expect, remotely.”

Since the aviation industry has been shutdown, Flightline is relying on the latest technology, and have pioneered the remote maintenance training platform in Canada.

“We were already in the process of obtaining approval for our Virtual Reality Practical Training using a combination of 3D, 360-degree and still photography, as well as being able to deliver remote training. The authorities were very accommodating, this seems to be the way of the future,” Durdey added.
