FlightPath International and Modest Tree announced they have entered into a long-term agreement to jointly introduce virtual reality (VR) simulation technology for maintenance training courses. FlightPath will offer computer-based training (CBT) and/or web-based training (WBT), as well as integrated maintenance training courseware.
Combining complementary skills and expertise, FlightPath and Modest Tree will initially focus on introducing VR and other high-tech simulations to maintenance training modules. Modest Tree technology will also be used to enhance FlightPath’s pilot training courseware.
Located in Toronto, Ont., FlightPath International is a Canadian-based aviation training company with nine training centres located globally supporting 150 airlines in more than 60 countries. FlightPath delivers training on most fleet types of Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft.
