From Dec. 10, 2016, to April 15, 2017, Porter will offer non-stop flights between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (BBTCA) and Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB). Flights increase to two-times weekly between Feb.15 to March 22, with a new mid-week departure, as well as two flights on Saturdays during March Break. Introductory prices start at $455 for a round-trip.

“After the success of our first season, travellers have proven there is a demand to serve Orlando-Melbourne,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “The enhanced schedule will provide flexibility and convenience when planning a trip south of the border.”

Porter offers service from BBTCA, located in the heart of downtown Toronto.

The airline is known for providing a premium passenger experience, including leather seats, complimentary wine and beer onboard, and airport lounge access. Its ‘flying refined’ approach has been recognized by Skytrax World Airline Awards as the Best Regional Airline in North America consecutively for the last three years.

“We are excited to begin a second season with Porter Airlines, building a terrific partnership with the airline known for distinctive service,” said Greg Donovan, executive director of Orlando Melbourne International Airport. “Together, Orlando Melbourne International Airport and Porter Airlines are meeting the demand for non-stop service with Toronto with a mid-week frequency.”

Orlando-Melbourne is an ideal Sunshine State destination, located less than 10 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from Port Canaveral, and 30 minutes from Kennedy Space Center. Orlando’s major attractions, including theme parks, are accessible within an hour’s drive.

Connections for Montreal, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmins and Windsor are also available.
